My photography "Yogurt" comes from the place, where I live ( Zlin area, of the otherwise quite cultural Czech Republic), we also have our specific cultural "yogurt", which is the ice and snow. The culture here is sort of frozen - hockey and ski. Actually, there is the ski slope in the center of the town, so close to the theatre, that you could get to the concert hall or even theatre on the skis if you don ´t know how to stop them. The hockey stadium is just around the hill (5 min. walk from the ski slope).
This yogurt photography is my reaction to the wonderful comment made by Artist Louise Pirrotta, who asked about her art interest maintainance, stated: "I live in an extremely rural secluded area of upstate NY, pretty much cut off from the rest of the world. They say here if you want culture you have to buy yogurt..." (Before moving there, Louise used to live for 47 years in Boston.)
These two yogurts (Louise' s and mine frozen) are not the only ones. Artists from different countries and areas add their yogurts in a vivid ArtFinder discussion.
