Remembering to Breathe (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Soos Roxana Gabriela

When everything around you stops during a deep, slow, conscious breath, and the calm from the usual hustle and bustle conquers you.
Then the day becomes beautiful, the evening unforgettable and the night peaceful.
On this canvas I have reproduced the state I achieved by breathing and slowing down time.
It is a dense field of layered color on a pale, misty ground. Bright red, yellow, pink, blue, and violet passages collide with soft white washes, while fine looping lines and scattered drips thread across the surface.
It seems expansive and restless, with vivid explosions concentrated along the bottom edge and left side, yet it conveys peace and tranquility.
