This is a dark, atmospheric night landscape painting focused on a road seen from inside a moving car, defined by headlights cutting through deep shadow and limited visibility.

I often travel between small towns around Jastrzębie-Zdrój. Even though I live a rather still life, I spend a lot of time “on the way” – moving through these in-between spaces that feel constant, yet change completely with seasons and light. At night, everything becomes tense. You stay alert – for animals crossing, for blinding headlights, for everything you can’t fully see yet.

This painting comes directly from that experience. The road is only visible in fragments, lit by the car’s lamps. Everything beyond that disappears into darkness. I kept the surface loose and slightly unstable to hold that feeling of limited control and forced focus. The more you look, the less certain the space becomes.

The painting is ready to hang and will be shipped in secure, multi-layered packaging with an insured, tracked delivery and a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity.
