Signal Fade (2026) Original Oil Painting by Robert Tillberg

Signal Fade is a minimal atmospheric oil painting that explores the space between memory, distance, and disappearing light. Soft neutral tones and deep black forms dissolve into a hazy landscape-like composition, creating a cinematic sense of stillness and quiet tension.

The work balances abstraction and atmosphere, with blurred edges and subtle tonal transitions that suggest a fading horizon, distant structures, or a partially remembered place. Small moments of color emerge through the darkness like fragments of signal breaking through static.

Executed in oil on canvas, the painting embraces restraint and scale while maintaining a strong visual presence suited for modern, contemporary, and minimalist interiors.

Arrives ready to hang stretched over heavy duty 1.5in deep stretcher bars. Signed on the side allowing it to be hung at any orientation.
