Shimo Sunflower (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Cheryl Harrison MA

PLEASE NOTE: (Requires Stretching) - This artwork is offered UN-STRETCHED and is shipped, rolled in a tube.

Shimo Sunflower is an original painting by Cheryl Harrison.

A cluster of ochre brushstrokes hints at the vibrant warmth of a sunflower, resting beside a delicate pencil drawing of a simple flower that mirrors a sunflower’s distinct centre.
The handwritten words 'shimo sunflower' dissolve quietly into shifting layers of blue and white, carrying the romance of a fleeting roadside discovery in Tokyo.
This soft collision of lines marks the exact moment a dark barrier yields, showing that nature will always beautifully find its way.

Signed and titled on the back, it comes with a letter of authenticity. This contemporary abstract artwork would be a striking statement piece in a neutral room, bringing a sense of calm to any space.
