“Pacific Gateway” captures the Golden Gate Bridge from the Pacific shoreline, where the restless movement of the ocean leads the eye towards one of San Francisco’s most iconic landmarks.

The composition explores the contrast between the strong architectural geometry of the bridge and the fluid, constantly changing rhythm of the sea. Turquoise water, foaming waves, rugged rocks and sunlit clouds create a vibrant sense of depth and movement, while the warm structure of the bridge rises against the open California sky.

The artwork was created through carefully layered acrylic colours, combining stencils with hand-painted details. This process is part of my personal style, which I call “Sampled Realism”: a contemporary fusion of realism, visual simplification and expressive colour.

The vertical composition draws the viewer from the shoreline into the distance, evoking the energy, light and expansive atmosphere of the California coast.
