About Lynne Douglas

  • Biography

Working from her Isle of Skye studio, Lynne creates poetic seascapes and skies inspired by the wild romance of Scotland’s beaches and the Outer Hebrides. Her large-scale, limited edition works are sought after for their atmospheric calm and dramatic presence, designed as oversized statement art for both intimate and vast spaces.

Her photographs are collected internationally, with sales in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Australia, and her work has been exhibited in New York and Seoul. In June 2025, six of her artworks were permanently installed in the new Integrated Oncology Building at the Mayo Clinic in Florida — the first facility of its kind in the Western Hemisphere. This recognition highlights the restorative and timeless qualities of her work, and forms part of her expanding portfolio of commercial projects for hospitals, banks, and corporate interiors.

Each artwork is produced to museum standard on archival fine art papers or canvas, hand-signed, and offered in carefully limited editions — ensuring both rarity and enduring beauty.
