    Hi, I'm Lynne,

I'm a professional Scottish landscape photographer living on the Isle of Skye in the far north of Scotland. If you have seen Outlander, Macbeth or Highlander you will have some idea of the wild, untamed landscape I live in and the myths and legends that make it such a romantic place. I live in a world of dramatic mountains and deserted beaches  surrounded by wild deer, eagles and lots of hardy blackface sheep. Who could help but be an artist with so much inspiration all around!

I like to experiment with my photography and I work very instinctively using my camera the way painters use their paintbrush. I love colour and line and deserted beaches are probably my favourite place to work. Most of the work is done in camera and I later work to bring out the details in the scene that inspired the piece.

My photography is based on my emotions at the time and being a fairly happy and optimistic person I feel my work expresses that part of my personality. I work in several styles ranging from traditional Scottish landscapes to dramatic abstracts and impressionist monochromatic prints.

I have established a reputation for creating high quality extra large wall art in vibrant colour. I love big prints and I now print my work at very large sizes. If you see a piece you like and would like it in a larger size please get in touch with me.

My work is in private collections all over the world and I have exhibited in galleries in New York and across the UK and Scotland. I am currently exhibiting a collection of my blue seascapes in Seoul, South Korea at the Museum of Colours exhibition in Building 63, the gold skyscraper that is the highest art gallery in the world.

At home I have a happy family of three dogs, a stray cat and a patient husband who packs the art for me.

I hope you enjoy my work and if you would like to know more of the background story to any of the images or just ask me questions about material, delivery etc please get in touch.

    Best wishes,
    Lynne
