Deep Calm is a soothing abstract seascape diptych created on a deserted beach along the remote northern coast of the Isle of Lewis, looking out across the vast North Atlantic. Formed through long-exposure photography and intentional camera movement, the work distils sea, sky, and light into gentle layers of navy, turquoise, sea-glass blue, and soft ivory.
