Barn secrets (2026) Photograph by Samira Malik

For years, this barn has been a fixture in my daily life. It serves as a shelter to the horses, storing their hay and providing respite from the hot afternoon sunshine. The barn itself has seen better days but it has not outlived its usefulness. It is an open structure yet the atmosphere feels as though it carries many secrets. These remain undiscovered but the viewer knows they are there.

Materials Used
Museum-quality fine art giclée print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm paper using archival pigment inks.

Method of Creation
Each artwork begins with one of my original photographs and is professionally produced as a fine art giclée print by specialist fine art printers in the United Kingdom.
