Tucked between the mountains and the Ligurian Sea, Rapallo has long been a place where nature and architecture exist in quiet harmony. I captured this view as dramatic clouds began to part, allowing the sunlight across the hillside, illuminating the villas nestled among cypress and palms.
What drew me to this scene was the contrast between the changing sky and the landscape. The shifting light after the rains added a sense of drama and a tropical feel, revealing layers of colour and texture.
My work is inspired by a love of the sea, atmospheric light and a combination of those that evoke a feeling of freedom.
