About Samira Malik

Biography

There is nothing I love more than a sparkling sea and it is this passion that inspired Seafoam Atelier, my photography outlet: a celebration of the sea, atmospheric light and scenes that capture that elusive feeling of freedom. Images that reveal themselves in an unexpected way and demand to be captured and remembered.

I am an amateur photographer, naturally on the look-out for those little moments that need to be remembered. I am an amateur, but I have always been interested in photography. Arriving here has been a winding road through the experiences of my life, but in a way it is almost like ending back at the start. This is the most natural destination and in a way surprising it's taken all this time.

Each of my original photographs edited with my colour palette and produced as a fine art giclée print using archival materials and specialist UK printers. I care deeply about quality and am involved in every stage of the process, from selecting the image and carefully editing and proofing it, to overseeing its production on Hahnemühle German Etching archival paper.

My hope is that my photographs will bring beauty and freedom into the homes of those who collect them- a beautiful photograph to be enjoyed time and time again.
