Lac du Bourget Triptych. Limited Edition (2020) Photograph by Samira Malik

126 x 29.7 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 114 x 25.47cm (actual image size)

£595

Some places reveal themselves gradually. As I travelled around Lac du Bourget, each stop offered a completely different perspective—tranquil turquoise waters, dramatic mountain backdrops and secluded terraces overlooking the lake. Rather than choosing a single photograph, I created this triptych to preserve the experience of discovering one of France's most beautiful alpine lakes from three unique viewpoints.

Set of 3 photographs. Each panel is sized 29.7 x 42 cm and printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper, with a narrow border around the image for ease of framing. This triptych will cover a space of 29.7 x 126 cm.

Materials Used
Museum-quality fine art giclée print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm paper using archival pigment inks.

Method of Creation
Each artwork begins with one of my original photographs and is professionally produced as a fine art giclée print by specialist fine art printers in the United Kingdom.
Giclée printing is widely regarded as the gold standard in fine art reproduction, using archival pigment inks to achieve exceptional colour accuracy, tonal range and detail. This process allows the subtle light, atmosphere and texture within the original photograph to be faithfully reproduced.

The print is produced on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm paper, one of the world's most respected fine art papers. Manufactured by Hahnemühle, a German papermaker founded in 1584, this archival-quality paper features a distinctive textured surface that enhances depth, richness and detail while giving the print an elegant, tactile quality.

Combined with archival pigment inks, the result is a museum-quality fine art print with exceptional longevity and fade resistance for up to 100 years under normal display conditions.

Please allow up to 10 working days for production and dispatch.
