My name is Lander Ver Eecke, a Belgian abstract artist based in Ieper, Belgium. My work is rooted in what I call "Earthbound Abstraction" - a deep physical connection between art and nature. What sets my practice apart is my use of handmade paste, combined with acrylic paint and organic pigments. I build my works layer by layer, allowing texture, structure and raw earth elements to emerge from the canvas. The result is art you don't just see - you feel it. Not two works are ever the same. My motivation to paint stems from a deep desire to capture the raw, untamed beauty of the natural world and translate it into a powerful abstract language. Rather than creating literal landscapes, I use a vibrant interplay of color and my own self-made textural pastes to evoke the physical essence of the earth. For me, the rugged reliefs and rich layers on the canvas are a direct reflection of geological forces and organic structures. I work from my studio in Ieper and I am available for original works, commissions and international shipping. My art has been exhibited at various exhibitions in Belgium. I believe original art should not be locked away, so that is why I want to sell my art on Artfinder. I create pieces that bring nature, texture an emotion into your home or space.
