Our Planet is a meditation on the fragile beauty of the world we inhabit — seen not from the ground, but from above. The deep turquoise and green surface suggests ocean, ice, or ancient mineral deposits, while deep crimson breaks through from beneath — a reminder of the volcanic forces that shaped our world long before we arrived.

Built with handmade paste and acrylic paint, the surface carries extraordinary depth and complexity. Layers of texture were applied by hand — scraped, dragged, and pressed into the canvas — creating a landscape of ridges, fissures, and peeling edges that echo the eroded surfaces of rock and earth.

This is Earthbound Abstraction — where our planet becomes the canvas, and the canvas becomes our planet.
