A Watchful Cougar stands in the snowy forest alert and silent in the cold morning air. This painting capture the power, patience and wild beauty of one of Vancouver Island's most mysterious predators. Close by my house lives a Cougar, I was impressed by the speed and intelligence. Jumping from tree branch to treebranch is still in my rememberance. So I made this impressive powerful photo shoot into a painting.
