£2,170.08

Veiled Silence" is a sophisticated fiber art piece and a direct conceptual continuation of my oil painting "Burning Gaze." While the painting captured the initial emotional impulse, this textile work materializes that vision through a complex process of layering and sculptural construction. I use both free-motion machine sewing and intricate hand embroidery to join diverse, history-laden textures: rabbit fur, a vintage linen bedspread, and fragments of my own handmade felt.
Together with the work "The Guardian," they form a unified conceptual dialogue within my "Soul Studies" collection. While "Veiled Silence" explores the internal, unspoken layers of our being, "The Guardian" acts as its protective counterpart, symbolizing the strength and vigilance needed to shield this inner sanctuary. This dialogue between machine precision and the organic touch reflects the multi-layered nature of human existence, turning vulnerable emotions into a tactile, protected space. It is an invitation to explore the duality of the spirit—the fragile silence and the power that guards it.
