Original artwork description
Peter Howson has had the biggest influence on my artistic career out of all. He was my favourite artist that I came across at 9 years old and he remains my favourite artist today. There aren’t many things/movies/songs etc… that are your favourite in primary school and continue to be when you’re middle aged so he clearly made an impression.
Every month or so I always make an attempt to appropriate an artists work that I admire. I’ll copy a study or a section of a piece or the entire piece itself in the hopes of absorbing some of their technique and process.
Materials used:
Oil paint
Details:
- Oil painting on Canvas
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 50 x 60 x 1.8cm (unframed) / 50 x 60cm (actual image size)
