I painted Shared Breath to explore the silent, invisible bond that connects two people even when they are looking in different directions. The painting shows two figures facing away from each other, but their hair flows together in the center to form a single, unified shape. This represents how our individual lives and thoughts are often tied together in a shared experience.

I used a clean, high-contrast style with vibrant skin tones to show the "inner fire" and strength of the subjects. The simple, neutral background helps the connection in the middle stand out. This work is about interdependence—the idea that we are all deeply connected to one another. It celebrates the quiet "breath" or energy that we share with those closest to us, reminding us that we are never truly alone in our journey.
