Final Rupture explores a moment of psychological and emotional fracture. A solitary female figure emerges from an intense blue environment, suspended between presence and dissolution. Her body is fragmented through vigorous brushwork, layered colour and areas of heavy impasto, creating a tension between vulnerability and resistance.

The dark vertical fissure on the right introduces a physical and symbolic break within the composition, while the ochre area contrasts with the surrounding blues and reinforces the sense of separation. Above the figure, a small fish appears almost like a fleeting memory or an enigmatic sign, adding a poetic and slightly surreal element to the scene.

The painting moves deliberately between figuration and abstraction. The anatomy remains recognizable, yet parts of the body seem to merge with the surrounding space, suggesting instability, transformation and the difficulty of maintaining a fixed identity.

The surface is built through successive layers of gesso, acrylic, pigments, chalk, stucco and modeling paste, finished with oil paint. This combination produces a tactile, richly worked surface in which texture becomes part of the emotional language of the piece.

Rather than illustrating a specific narrative, Final Rupture invites an open reading around ideas of separation, vulnerability, memory and inner transformation.
