Each and Every III (2022) Etchings & engravings by Michaela Wheater

This original hand made print titled 'Each and Every III' is a two plate coloured etching and aquatint. A line drawing made as a hard ground etching is on the principal plate while the second plate holds the colour with sugar lift and spit bite aquatint. The sugar lift and spit bite create a similar effect to watercolour which it is made by etching zinc with a diluted solution of nitric acid.
This is the fifth print from a small limited edition of 5 printed on Somerset soft white 300gsm.
Using myself as reference it is a portrait expressing emotion and is part of a small series which takes 'Each and Every' as a title.
