Blue (2023) Etchings & engravings by Michaela Wheater

This original print titled 'Blue' is an etching with spit bite aquatint and a hint of colour achieved by transferring transparent blue ink over part of the image from a stencil. This is the fourth print from a small limited edition of 5 printed on Somerset soft white 300gsm.
Using myself as reference it is a portrait expressing emotion and is part of a small series.
Amongst other places this print has been exhibited in 'Small and Mighty' at the Bankside Gallery, London, the RBSA Print Prize in Birmigham and with The Society of Women Artists in the Mall Galleries, London.
