About Natalia Matveeva

Biography

I am a professionally trained artist, having graduated from an art academy in Saint Petersburg. For over 11 years, I have been living and working in Munich, where I continue to develop my painting practice. My work focuses on urban scenes and everyday life. What matters to me is not just the subject, but the atmosphere — light, color, and the presence of a moment. I paint streets, markets, and cafés, capturing familiar situations and translating them into a painterly language. I currently have a solo exhibition, and I am now looking to present my work to a wider audience. I am particularly interested in Artfinder because it is a platform dedicated to original art, where painting is taken seriously and artists are presented in a thoughtful and curated way. I believe my work would resonate with its audience.
