Original artwork description:

This sunset on the snow in winter in Quebec was painted following a walk by the artist in snowshoes in a field near his home. In winter, twilight is a special time to see the flamboyant colors of the sky subtly reflected in the snow and in apotheosis in the clouds. The shrubs delimiting the fields, the forest in the distance, everything is there to fully enjoy the great outdoors of Canada. The yellows, oranges and reds of the painting give a pleasant warmth to this yet wintry landscape.

The work was done with a spatula and a brush, the sides are an extension of the work, the surface is varnished and the back is provided with a metal wire for hanging.

Materials used:

Acrylic
