Wanting more sunsets
Yellow gamboge streaks the sky
Like a flash of lightning,
Earthy purple, pink and orange,
Silhouette of woodland,
Mysterious and ancient,
Words and expression.
I’m surrounded by very old woodland where I live and this original expressive watercolour is all from my visual memory and imagination- art demonstration for my YouTube channel.
Extra rough textured watercolour paper acid free bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb.
Keeping the paper wet I begin with sporadic washes and in a repetition of layers of colours letting the pigments and water evolve.
