The larger size and firm surface of the paper has freed me up to better express abstract colour … within the outlines of the subject, people out for a stroll, the body language, the expressions. But it’s all about the colour play.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress. And that’s me holding up the painting to put things into perspective.
