in a deeply thoughtful and tranquil mood, using colours to reflect my feelings, then adding some gold leaf highlights to enhance the painting that resulted, I particularly like this oil painting and hope that viewers can see something that reflects how they feel when looking at it. Oil paints, and enhancements with gold leaf taking you from the watery foreground into a high and cloudy sky and back again was created with palette knives large brushes, soft and hard, to create an interesting mix of "edges". The painting comes beautifully edge bound for immediate hanging with a contemporary feel. All of my work includes a certificate of authenticity.
