Twilight Sky 2 (2024) Original Mixed-media Painting by SBBoursot

Evening skies, seen at the bottom of the artist's garden in Burgundy.

The artwork presents a twilight landscape dominated by varying shades of blue. A sense of depth and movement in the sky is created using textural techniques adding to the overall impression of a restless, stormy night. The trees are rendered with a slightly blurred, almost ghostly quality, emphasizing their shadowy presence against the vibrant night sky. The contrast between the dark trees and the luminous blue sky is the focal point of the piece.
