  • Biography
    Anglo-French artist SBBoursot paints, sculpts and draws in charcoal.

    Attracted to figurative subjects, she likes to build layers and texture into each work, where lines are often softened or blurred, c0apturing intimate and expressive moments.

    Her sculptures are inspired by themes on ageing, and are abstract and expressionist, starting with an idea then progressing intuitively.

    She has exhibited in London and Paris in juried group exhibitions and won the prize for charcoal work in Paris 2022. End 2023, she was a Finalist in the VAA Professional Artist Award in which she was also awarded as one of only 5 "Highly Commended Exhibitor".
