An intimate black-and-white portrait of three New Forest horses gathered closely together, their faces almost touching.

I was drawn to the quiet connection between them — the gentle expressions, overlapping forms and subtle details in their eyes and manes. By removing colour, the photograph becomes entirely about character, texture and the relationship between the horses, creating a calm and timeless equine portrait.

The close composition gives Together a strong presence when printed at large scale, making it particularly suited to contemporary, neutral and monochrome interiors.
