The Guardian’ is an intimate, volumetric three-dimensional fiber sculpture masterfully handcrafted from premium natural wool using traditional professional wet and needle felting techniques. Measuring 4 x 8 x 7 inches, this tactile 'Soul Study' is a profound conceptual exploration of protection, inner resilience, and silent presence within human spaces.
As a trained sculptor, I transform raw organic wool fibers into a powerful architectural form. The sculpture features a concealed internal wire armature inside its legs, ensuring maximum structural stability and lifetime durability, while absolutely no glue or artificial stabilizers were used. The entire volumetric shape and rich surface texture are secured purely through a meticulous hand-felting process and thousands of meditative hand-stitches using fine cotton threads. This small-scale sentinel carries a concentrated energy, standing as a symbolic protector of the soul's inner sanctuary.
