The Green Dragon (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Sage Mountain Studio

A green abstract painting created in an expressionist style perfect for the modern or contemporary home. Colors are green, yellow, and dark blue, with accents in pink and orange. This piece is made up of energetic brushwork and mark making. Please see close ups to see the surface detail and texture. The title is a nod to The Green Dragon pub from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Hand painted in my studio in Nova Scotia, Canada. (Ships tariff free to USA.)

24x24 inches (1.5 inches deep), sides painted black. Wired ready to hang on back. Protected with a light gloss varnish. Gloss varnish is a low gloss, not super shiny, but some sheen to it. If you prefer a high gloss please message me and I can do that for you.

Painted with acrylic paints and solid acrylic paint sticks. Shipped in a double thick cardboard box with reinforcements around the edges.

Signature will be on front as well as back, also titled and dated on back.

SHIPPING to Canada and USA takes 6 to 10 days.

Original paintings do not incur customs charges when shipped to the United States from Canada. Even though de minimis ended August 29th, original artworks remain duty-free under HTS Chapter 97 of the U.S. customs code. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
