Following my painting 'Whoosh' I was intrigued by the sounds of children's mvements. Again I chose to paint it loosely and quickly without great detail. In this painting I wanted to express the regular movement of multicultural children skipping in unison. Each approaching it from their own perspective, while the barly visible rope swishes past them. I placed some stability, the distant landscape, the old lady and the letter box as stationary anchors, the reference about which the children are moving, and the country in which they live.
