£259.79

Acrylic colours on acid free cold pressed Canson watercololur paper, 300g/m. 11.7 x 16 in., 41 x 29.5cm.
The painting is inspired from one of my many, many sketches. Slowly I am reaching into my trunk full of sketches, organizing them, and reworking them into paintings … and some digital works. Many of my inspirations come from sitting out in public places. This one is from a series of sketches of people dancing in nightclubs. Here I am using a loose approach to applying the colour, more expressive. The simpler result can be quite refreshing. The dancing figure always make a good subject. The lines are fluid, the challenge is to put movement into the painting with colour and ‘splash’.
The close up pictures are to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in progress.
