This pastel captures a moment of absolute freedom and spontaneous joy of life.
As the author, I wanted to express that intoxicating feeling when you leave everything behind and simply perceive the present moment. The central motif is a dynamic composition built on the contrast of the solid shape of the car and joyful movement. A woman standing in a moving convertible with her arms raised to the sky is a symbol of unbridledness. Her body and flowing hair merge with the wind and sea spray. The pink vintage car gives the scene a touch of nostalgia and romance. It is captured from above and at speed.
