This piece started off as a layered study of nettles but then along the way became about loss and life ater loss when there's nothing for it but to carry on. Acrylic paint, pastel, coloured pencil and wax pastel on canvas. It is the second of two pieces that I was working on at the same time, the first one being 'We Lost You Before We Met You'
