🔶 ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This sculpture captures an elongated, textured creature with thin legs and a long, high-reaching tail.
Face has unique features of an old, bearded man with expressive eyes, blending human emotion into animal form.
I love animals, especially dogs and cats, and they often appear in my works. Usually in humorous stories, because humor is my spice of life. Recently, I saw an old tramp on street feeding an old, emaciated stray cat. In my vivid imagination, idea of combining them both into one sculpture immediately arose. Therefore, this creature has body of cat and face of old, bearded man. I believe this unexpected transformation brings out both bittersweet humor and a deeper reflection on street life.
