“This Standing Dachshund sculpture was modelled on Maddie. Maddie passed away on 2020 at the grand old age of 19, and she was commissioned a couple of years later. Her photos show her as a happy girl at home, enjoying lots of attention and comfort. It was a pleasure to create her as she clearly meant a great deal to her family, and I hope I caught some of her personality in the memorial statue of her.”
