STAN AND PAN – COMEDIC CONTRAST

🔷 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to pay tribute to the golden era of classic comedy, transforming the legendary duo of Laurel and Hardy into an expressive, narrative artistic statement.
The artwork captures Stan and Pan standing side by side, accompanied by their loyal animal companions—a dog and a small cat.
The contrast between Stan’s lean, elongated figure and Pan’s robust presence is synthesized into rich, expressionistic surfaces where textured clothing and iconic bowler hats form a balanced structural harmony.
Through this radical simplification and a vibrant green and dark bronze patina, I aimed to freeze a sense of lifelong friendship, innocent humor, and subtle nostalgia.
It explores how familiar silver-screen personalities can project warmth, loyalty, and cinematic history above their solid bronze base.
