SQUIRREL I. – PULSE OF THE FOREST

🔷 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to capture the restless energy and charm of forest life, turning a small, dynamic animal into a sophisticated sculptural composition.
The artwork depicts a sitting squirrel holding a small nut, its iconic bushy tail forming a massive, elegant curve behind its back.
The body is synthesized into bold, kubistic planes where the sharp alert ears and the compact silhouette form a calculated balance of mass and open space. Through this radical simplification and a multi-layered bronze patina, I aimed to freeze a sense of vibrant focus, agility, and playful dignity above its solid bronze base.
