SKIER – ALPINE DESCENT
🔷 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to capture the thrilling velocity of a downhill run, transforming high-speed skiing into a sleek geometric statement.
The artwork features a stylized skier frozen in a sharp carve, body leaning heavily into an aggressive alpine turn. The athletic form is synthesized into clean planes where the tilted silhouette creates a calculated structural balance of centrifugal force and fluid gravity.
Through this radical simplification and a rich bronze patina, I froze a sense of absolute speed and razor-sharp focus above its solid bronze base. It explores how a minimal silhouette can project maximum energy.
🔷 WHO DID I CREATE THIS FOR?
I designed this sculpture for collectors who appreciate sports iconography and refined minimalism:
🔹 Winter sports enthusiasts who connect with the mountains as a symbol of freedom, adrenaline, and speed.
🔹 Discerning collectors of contemporary bronze who value clean, aerodynamic lines and geometric silhouettes.
🔹 Design professionals looking for an accent piece that introduces dramatic motion and athletic elegance.
🔷 WHERE TO DISPLAY:
Its sharp, diagonally tilted composition acts as a perfect sculptural anchor in any premium setting:
🔹 A prominent display on a modern living room mantelpiece, a sleek entryway console, or a long floating shelf.
🔹 An executive desk, a private library bookshelf, or a winter chalet lounge to inspire courage and sharp focus.
🔷 I hope this sculpture brings a sense of joyful movement and refined artistic discipline into your environment.
