Empowered Feminist African Art — Rebel (2020) Original Oil Painting by Anna Miklashevich

This modern square canvas focuses on a profile view of an African woman enjoying a quiet, powerful moment of relaxation. A highly contrasted palette of deep violet, rich magenta, and a striking flash of electric blue on the shoulder cuts through intense canvas shadows against a fiery terracotta red background. Measuring 70x70 cm, this original painting serves as a commanding interior statement piece, adding a modern maximalist gallery-wall vibe and bold, feminine-energy art to an elegant living room wall, bedroom, or upscale corporate office.

"Rebel" celebrates the fierce, uncompromising path of a woman who dares to define her own reality. This original piece honors the quiet bravery of turning away from predictable, approved careers to relentlessly pursue a personal dream. Moving past the trap of forced perfection, the figure embodies the strength needed to balance ambition and personal life without seeking external validation, remaining raw and real for herself. The energetic crimson brushstrokes and heavy violet tones reflect a soul that utilizes its own voice to create change and inspire a new standard of freedom. It serves as an empowering daily anchor, inviting viewers to claim their sovereignty and fearlessly empower others along the way.
