RAIN FOREST 01 (2025) Original Mixed-media Painting by Paolo Scaglioni
100 x 100 x 0.2cm (unframed) / 100 x 100cm (actual image size)
£2,997.37
Original artwork description
A series of overlapping brushstrokes generates multiple levels of interpretation, unfolding as hyper-stylized “environments.” I am interested in the shifting depth of these perspectives and in the experience of becoming immersed within them, allowing the eye to move between different layers of perception.
The work is created on a Plexiglas sheet, painted black on the reverse side. The front surface is dedicated to brushstrokes rendered in wall plaster, creating a material and spatial tension between the transparency of the support and the density of the painted surface.
The Plexiglas sheet measures 0.2 cm in thickness.
Materials used:
Plexiglas, watercolors, wall filler
Details:
- Mixed-media painting on Other
- One of a kind artwork
