Original artwork description
One Saturday morning, after breakfast, we were going to work in the temple. But from the window in the field, one could see a horse in the meadow, which we had not seen before. I was delighted as in my virginity and rolled like a ball down the stairs with a camera and ran to get acquainted.
"Rafaelka" grazed on a meadow near the temple. Why it was called that, maybe on behalf of the Renaissance artist "Rafael Santi", but most likely from the "Raffaello" sweets.
A friendly but badly bitten filly 2 years old greeted me with joy. And first of all, she scratched her face against me, as apparently the bites from horseflies were very itchy. Then she allowed herself to be photographed.
What is the name of the horse, I learned about 10 days later from the Cossack Nikita Kiselev, who lives in Chamzinka quite often rode a horse, we saw him from the windows of the temple.
A serene equestrian scene unfolds in this luminous oil painting. A chestnut horse stands poised in a vast emerald meadow. The animal occupies the center of the composition. Its warm coat glows under a soft, diffused light. Gentle brushstrokes define the muscular anatomy and the velvet texture of the muzzle. A simple white halter adds a touch of human presence to the rural solitude.
The background dissolves into a pale turquoise sky. A distant line of trees anchors the horizon. The artist employs a harmonious palette of greens and ochres to evoke a sense of peace. This artwork captures a quiet moment of stillness in nature. The composition emphasizes the nobility and calm of the creature. Light plays across the horses flank, creating a subtle three-dimensional effect. Every detail reflects a deep appreciation for the animal form. The painting is presented in a classic dark wood frame with a gilded inner border that enhances the warmth of the pigments.
