Event: Favourable wind

From February 9 to March 17, 2024, the exhibition “Semyon Kozhin. Favourable wind”, dedicated to the artist’s 45th anniversary. The exhibition amazes with its variety of genres and techniques. Viewers will see about 250 works - landscapes, portraits, still lifes, historical paintings, book illustrations, made in the techniques of oil painting, tempera, watercolor and graphite pencil.
Semyon Kozhin is a graduate of Ilya Glazunov’s Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, and has participated in a large number of exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
Since childhood, the artist was fascinated by books about distant travels. Having grown up, he retained his youthful dreams and still enjoys new places and discoveries. Over two decades, Semyon visited the UK, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Montenegro, Switzerland, Turkey and a number of other countries. He painted sketches from life, drawing on the experience of both realistic and impressionistic movements.
