A series which slowly transitioned from sole Hyper-realist paintings to quasi abstract/realist works. The obstructive nature of juxtaposed imagery and jarring paint sensation really spoke to me, alongside my ongoing commentary on modern culture and social media.
Here looking at the quick response barcode image superimposed over a portrait of a woman taking a selfie. The piece looks at immanent glorification of fleeting moment and self obsession.
