“Power Returned”—the title implies a cycle: something (or someone) lost power—having been deactivated, oppressed, dismantled, or controlled.
Now, that power returns.

It depicts a female figure who—after being reduced to an object (mechanical, sexualized, controlled)—regains her strength and voice; the machine is not merely an instrument of control but can become a vehicle for liberation and personal empowerment.
There are references to retro-futurism and cyberpunk: a reimagined 80s and 90s aesthetic where the human and the machine merge in an act of resistance or rebirth.

The work is neither purely dystopian nor celebratory; pain and power coexist. The cry signifies not defeat, but the assertion of an entity that had been left in limbo.
“Power Returned” is an image of hybrid rebirth: a human who does not forsake technology but reclaims it, bending it to their own emotional will and sense of self. It is a cyberpunk anthem celebrating the return of agency, voice, and strength—symbolizing the reclamation of emotion and willpower.
Within a body that is almost entirely mechanical, the face remains “human”: it is the last (or first) part to resist complete technological objectification.
The cry can be interpreted both as a scream of suffering (the trauma of transformation) and as a shout of regained power.
