Original artwork description
We were given some potatoes and I realised they were green and inedible so I grew them instead. I kept them all together on a blue plate and drew them as they grew shoots. The shoots were interesting, gnarly looking things and I enjoyed drawing them for weeks. Eventually I planted the potatoes out where they continued to grow and made more potatoes
