In my artistic practice, botanical subjects gathered from my own garden serve as a constant source of vital energy and inspiration. "Peonies" is an expressive exploration of this floral motif, capturing the lush, transient beauty of late spring blooms.

This still life stands out through its bold, dramatic color contrast. I wanted to place the delicate, ethereal white and soft pink peony petals against an intense, pulsating crimson background.
