On 19 March 2026, the M17 Contemporary Art Center will open the second part of the large-scale project “Cloud Storage” within the framework of the 17th Platform of Cultural Initiatives “Newest Directions.” This will mark the second exhibition of the project, which unfolds across three institutions in Kyiv: the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, M17 Contemporary Art Center, and the Modern Art Research Institute.
“Cloud Storage” fosters a public discussion on art as a means of reflecting on the past, the asynchrony of history and collective memory, the fragility of cultural heritage, war as a factor in shaping new memory in Ukraine, and the limits of the digitalisation of human experience.

Event: Earth and Sky
Dates: 12 Dec 2024 - 21 Dec 2024
Artem Andreichuk's project "Earth and Sky" is another successful attempt to find balance, creating its own version of extraordinary reality. This time, the artist balances between the hidden and the expressive, skillfully using images and symbols of mass consciousness that fill our perception and become part of universally accepted and attractive seductive-exotic feelings of desired "earthly pleasure". The project resonates with the mosaic-like contemporary reality through its collage approach and even a certain chaos. It combines traditional norms with the changing rules of the postmodern world, merging the seriousness of events of apocalyptic importance - the "earthly" - with surreal reactions of those distant from the center of events, seemingly existing in another, "heavenly" world.
The project unites various stylistic approaches, all aimed at revealing the "hidden" (French: caché), where the "heavenly" provides a new, supernatural perspective on the "earthly." Irre

Biography
As an artist, I am mainly interested in portraying the naked human body in its natural form, stripped of clothing and regalia, and in complete harmony with nature, sensual and enticing. I also like working on minimalistic landscapes, trying to capture the elusive tranquility and greatness of the sky, as well as optical effects typical of early morning or evening when the sun has just risen or set.
Music plays a significant role in my life and is a continuation of my oeuvre. For many years, I’ve been a bass guitarist for the Ukrainian indie band Blake Maloka. Music of the 1960s, especially jazz music with its complex structure and rhythm, strongly resonates with my recent abstract works — as both imply an unhurried and thoughtful approach. I really like the Artfinder platform! It is a modern, interesting and professional art platform that strongly motivates and inspires. Joining you is a good opportunity to show my works to a huge number of people both collectors and colleagues of artists. I am sure that on Artfinder my works will not be ignored and will find new admirers. With best wishes Artem Andreichuk.
